Author of more than twenty titles under the imprint of Oireacht na Mumhan Books, Patrick J. O’Connor is a retired academic geographer, writer and poet.

Dr. O’Connor has the unique distinction of twice winning the Irish Historical Research Prize and is also twice a winner of the Government of Canada Faculty Enrichment Award.

He has been married to Esther for fifty year. We too love Ireland.
